Terms and Conditions – Taxi Bucharest

These Terms and Conditions regulate the use of the bucharest.taxi website and the placement of reservation requests for chauffeured transport services in Bucharest, Otopeni Airport (OTP) transfer and intercity trips.

Definitions

  • Client: the person requesting a reservation/service.
  • Provider: the operator providing the transport service.
  • Reservation: the request submitted via form/phone/WhatsApp and confirmed by the Provider.

Pick-up time: the time set for picking up the client.

How the reservation works

  • The client completes the form (route, date/time, options, contact).
  • The reservation becomes valid only after confirmation (by phone, WhatsApp or email), depending on availability.
  • The Provider reserves the right to request additional information for confirmation.

    Prices and Payments

    The prices shown/estimated may depend on the route, vehicle, waiting time, parking/airport fees and options chosen.

Payment can be made online (in advance) or at the end/on the day of the trip, depending on the available option and confirmation.

If there are differences between the estimate and the actual conditions (e.g. additional stops, extended waiting time), the final price may be adjusted, with the customer’s information.

Meet & Greet / OTP Airport Pick-up (meeting upon arrival)

For transfers from Henri Coandă Airport (OTP), the driver can meet the customer:

  • with the customer’s name displayed on the phone/tablet/board;
  • in the meeting area at arrivals, immediately after exiting security, on the right side (depending on the airport flow);
  • and will accompany the customer to the vehicle.
    Note: the exact point may vary depending on the gate/flow/internal works of the airport. In case of changes, the driver will contact the customer at the number provided.

Cancellation and refund policy (online advance payment)

If the reservation was paid online in advance, the customer can cancel under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation at least 24 hours before the pick-up time: 100% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours, but at least 4 hours before the pick-up time: 50% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 4 hours before the pick-up time: no refund.

Reason: the vehicle and driver have been assigned to the reservation, and the Provider bears costs and opportunity losses.

Refunds are made to the same payment method, within [FILLE IN: e.g. 3–10 business days], depending on the payment processor/bank.

Booking changes

Any changes (time, address, route, options) must be communicated as soon as possible. Changes are confirmed subject to availability and may affect the price.

Customer obligations

The customer undertakes to:

  • provide correct contact details;
  • be present at the agreed time and place;
  • respect the vehicle capacity (passengers/luggage);
  • announce delays in advance (especially at the airport).

    Provider obligations

    The provider undertakes to:

  • provide the service to a professional standard, respecting safety;
  • inform the customer of any situation that may affect the pick-up (traffic, availability, delays);
  • allocate a vehicle corresponding to the confirmed booking or an equivalent one.

    Limitation of liability

    The provider is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • exceptional traffic, accidents, weather conditions, restrictions by the authorities;
  • flight/luggage/customs delays;
  • incorrect information provided by the customer.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute shall be resolved amicably, and otherwise by the competent courts.
